General information
Background: Broad Oak School is a Community Primary School with 155 pupils on roll. There is a strong family atmosphere with good working relationships. There are three mobile classrooms in the school grounds, which house the Key Stage 2 classes. It has two playing fields, a playground, a garden area and an open-air, heated, learner swimming pool. The school is set in beautiful scenery with attractive grounds. Each classroom has at least two P.C.s and access to a trolly of laptop computers. The school also has a data projector and is currently purchasing and installing interactive whiteboards for classroom use. All children are encouraged to take part in sporting activities. The school aims to promote enjoyment, healthy exercise, sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork. It has a large playing field adjacent to the school, which provides well for many physical activities. The school aims to create an environment which is happy, supportive annd encourages creativity.
