General information

Background: Meeching Valley Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. Originally, the school was located in the centre of town but in the early 1970?s the new building was opened with extensive grounds. It has two hard playgrounds, a pond, flowerbeds, a wild life area and a young apple orchard. The school also provides a well-equipped special needs room, gymnasium, libraries and ICT suite. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. It offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: netball, football, rugby, cricket, basketball and volleyball. It also provides a variety of opportunities to enhance learning. The school aims to respect and nurture the individuality of each child and to help that child to develop a sense of his or her own worth.
