General information
Background: Priory School is a county secondary mixed comprehensive day school for students aged 11 to 16. The school has approximately 1100 students and is situated in Mountfield Road, five minutes walk from Lewes Railway Station. It is surrounded by extensive playing fields and recreational areas and adjoins the Lewes Leisure Centre whose facilities are used for physical education. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to meet the needs of every young person in its care and to provide the very best education and preparation for life.
