General information
Background: Opened in September 1998 with new buildings, it is set in the spacious landscape of Eastbourne Park. The ethos of the school is to be demanding but caring. Pastoral care is based on a strong traditional year system and associated tutor groups. Students receive gold, silver and bronze certificates for personal and academic achievement. Extra-curricular activities are regarded as an essential part of life at the school and contribute significantly to the personal development of students and to their enjoyment of school. The school has well established and strong links with local primary schools. The school believes that self-discipline; motivation, achievement and fulfilling ambitions come from a disciplined and ordered working environment.
