General information

Background: Bruntsfield Primary is a non-denominational school that provides education for both boys and girls. Because of its situation in the centre of Edinburgh, it draws in children of various backgrounds. The school building is traditional in design and affords ample space for various activities. It comprises of two large halls, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, two libraries, a music/drama room, a resource room, a computer suite, a learning support room and a medical/meeting room. The school facilities are used widely by community organisations in the evenings and weekends. The school aims to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment in which each learner is valued and supported.
