General information

Background: Gracemount Primary School is a non-denominational, co-educational school, which was originally built in 1960. It is set in the grounds of the old mansion house on the Lasswade Road on the south side of Edinburgh. The school has large, well-equipped gym hall and music and drama room. There are large playgrounds, which are attractively furnished. The school also has access to the new football pitches at Gracemount Leisure Centre. The school aims to work hard to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for children, with an atmosphere that fosters happiness and growing self-confidence.
