General information
Background: Roseburn Primary School first opened its doors in 1894. It is part of The City of Edinburgh Education Department. The main school building is a traditional stone structure with generous sized classrooms. It is fully adapted for disabled access to the ground floor and offers the very best of modern facilities throughout. Two additional classrooms are housed in a state-of-the-art unit in the playground and a separate self-contained nursery sits to the side of the main building. The school boasts a well-stocked modern library, a computer suite, a gymnasium, a general purpose room, lunch hall and dining room. The school offers a wide range of clubs including basketball club, fencing, recorder, cello, chess club and netball. The school also raises money throughout the year for all sorts of reasons.
