Background: Stockbridge is a non-denominational, co-educational primary school. The school is housed in a Victorian building on three floors and an annexe which accommodates the nursery, visiting services, general purpose room and parents' room. In addition to the seven classrooms in the main building there is a learning support base, dining room/gymnasium, a television room, a library, a computer suite and a resources room. The school aims to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment in which each individual is valued and supported.
