Background: Trinity is a non-denominational and co-educational primary school situated on Newhaven Road. The school was opened in 1968 and contains separate classrooms, a dining hall, small hall and gymnasium. The school has a library and a state-of-the-art information technology base. There are playgrounds and entrances for younger and older children. The school also makes use of Victoria park nearby and Bangholm fields for sporting activities. The school offers various activities in music, physical education and arts. Students have the opportunity to learn musical instruments including violin, cello and recorder. The school aims to provide all its pupils with the best education possible in a happy and caring environment, encouraging independence of thought and ensuring every component of a successful education is in place. .
