General information

Background: Raynham Primary School is situated in the southeast corner of the London Borough of Enfield. The school is a large, three-form entry school; class sizes are 30 children in each class. The school is accommodated in two spacious Victorian buildings, one single storey building which houses the nursery, childcare centre, reception classes and rainbow, and one three-storey building, which houses the rest of the school. All children study national curriculum. They are taught the core subjects of English, mathematics and science and the foundation subjects of history, geography, music, art, physical education, technology and religious education. The school aims to provide a supportive, stimulating environment in which each child is enabled and encouraged to attain the highest standard of achievement of which they are capable.
