General information

Background: Established in 1912; extended and remodelled in 1997; excellent accommodation, but no playing fields; multi-ethnic school serving Edmonton, with more than half the pupils of Arican origin; also Vietnamese, Spanish, Italian, Irish and Asian. All children from practising Catholic families. Breakfast club. Extra-curricular activities include football, netball, rounders, choir and the internet. Schools Curriculum Award (2002); Basic Skills Quality Mark (2003); Investor in People status (2004); DfES achievement award (2002). Ethos: 'Christian ethos summarised by school motto: "Love, Care, Share"' .
