General information

Background: Founded by the Westminster diocese 70 years ago; close to Enfield town; three buildings, the most recent of which opened in 2000; facilities include new information technology resource centre. A phased expanision is scheduled for completion in 2005. Over-subscribed, with 1.2 applications per place. Has strong tradition of music and sports. 'Our intention is to provide a broad and balanced education within a secure, caring Catholic environment in which each child is enabled to realise his or her full potential and is valued as a member of the community.' Before-school care, from 8.10am; after-school care, until 6pm. After-school clubs: French, Spanish, chess, sports, drama, ICT. Investor in People status; DfES achievement award (2001, 2002, 2003).
