General information

Background: St John's is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School attached to the Church of St John's Clay Hill, Enfield. Founded in 1867, it was remodelled in 1969 as a village school. The school policy for ICT is based on curriculum 2000 and QCA scheme of work. In ICT lessons it aims to stimulate pupils' interest and to develop knowledge and understanding of current technology though specific teaching of skills, practical discovery and first hand experience. At St John's it believes that children are valued for themselves as individuals and it strives for excellence in learning though a Christian centred teaching approach. The school aims to create a stimulating environment to enable children to become life long learners; do develop its Christian centred teaching approach in all aspects of school life in order to help each child become spiritually reflective and a socially responsible person.
