General information
Background: St Michael's CofE Primary School is a mixed entry school for children from four to 11 years old. All infant and junior children in the school follow a structured religious education programme, which predominantly focuses on the Christian faith, but which also teaches about the other major faiths. Children will be given access to a wide variety of hardware and software in the school. All classrooms continue to have computers to support the work in the ICT suite. The music curriculum places an emphasis on music appreciation, as well as on the development of musical skills. Children listen to a wide range of music as they lead into assemblies as well as listening to music in their lessons.
