General information

Background: Beauchamps High School is a comprehensive school, which moved to the present site in 1959. Since then the building has been extended in a number of phases. The school is housed in a modern three-storey building, which is set in its own pleasant ground including hard play areas, tennis courts and playing fields. The accommodation comprises of specialist rooms for the teaching of science, mathematics, information technology, geography, history, drama and religious education. A modern, well-stocked resource centre/library provides extra resources for the requirements of the national curriculum and resource-based learning. There are clubs and societies run by staff during the lunchtime and after-school. Clubs usually include choir, computing, chess, theatre going, art, multi-gym, textiles, French and wide range of sports. The school aims to provide a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
