General information

Background: The Boswells is a large 11-18 neighbourhood comprehensive school, which offers a seven-year education for students. It has a large hall and stage recently re-equipped with new sound and lighting equipment to enhance the drama productions. It seeks to provide an environment within which each child can feel secure and to which each child, whatever their strengths or abilities can make a contribution. Music occupies its own suite of rooms and the work of the music staff is supported by a strong team of peripatetic teachers, giving individual lessons to over 150 students per week. The school aims to provide a high standard of education in which all students can achieve their full potential.
