General information
Background: Beath High School has possessed a secure corner in the community life of West Central Fife for over 80 years. Opened in 1910, the school is located to the north of Cowdenbeath town centre. At present, accommodation comprises a main building and several huts. A number of clubs operate during lunch times and after-school, including sports, music, drama and language clubs. There are five learning support and two behaviour support staff, who work in conjunction with the local primary schools, to assist children with special educational needs (SEN). The ethos of the school is summarised as positive, firm, fair.
