Background: St. John?s Primary School was established in 1919 to serve the parishes of Rosyth and Inverkeithing and moved into the existing purpose-built building in 1988. The school enjoys the benefits of modern facilities organised around two open plan teaching wings with three internal courtyards, which lend a pleasing and spacious aspect to the teaching areas. There is a large gym and dining hall, which is well designed and excellently equipped to cater for all physical education, drama and assembly activities. The classrooms have excellent learning and teaching resources and the school is well equipped for ICT. The school aims to help each child grow into a reasonable adult by giving conditions and experiences to fully develop their minds and bodies. .
