Background: Eastbank Academy, which has a history stretching back 106 years, moved into its existing building 14 years ago. The building is modern, comfortable, well maintained and extremely well resourced by any standards. The school is keen to promote an interest in outdoor education among pupils through the physical education department and also through the strands of the support for learning programme. The school also offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. These include hockey, football, badminton, musical activities and fundraising. The school aims to provide a safe and disciplined environment which will ensure the maximum development for each individual.
