General information
Background: Quarry Brae Primary School is in the Parkhead area of the City of Glasgow in Scotland. The school was built in 1903 and has been serving the boys and girls of the East End of Glasgow since then. The building is a three storey red sandstone one with the galleried central hall well lit by light from a large glass roof. The school has a particular interest in computing and technology. The school aims to provide the pupils with the most effective curriculum to prepare them for the job market and for life; to have a visually attractive, motivating work environment in school; to develop talent, to cultivate a sense of personal worth and of pride in the local community.
