General information
Background: The school was opened in 1966 when a grammar school dating back to the 13th century merged with two secondary schools. The schools sixth form became Cirencester College in 1991. Facilities are excellent and include an expressive art centre, science centre, library /learning centre, state of the art and ICT rooms. Sports facilities include a floodlit astroturf pitch and new sports hall. At the centre of the school is a social space for pupils. In the last two years the school has gained leading edge, training school status and become an international school. The school is an exciting place to learn and work. It provides high quality learning and teaching opportunities and thrives on positive relationships between staff and pupils.
