Background: Halstow Primary School is a community school maintained by Greenwich Council. It is a mixed school, taking girls and boys from the age of four years to 11 years. There are 45 places in every year group and classes are vertically grouped, comprising of a mixture of two year groups. The school has been awarded the Basic Skills Quality Mark for the third time in recognition of the school's commitment to quality education for all children in the basic skills.
