General information
Background: Founded in 1934 as a preparatory school, the school is now co-educational for girls and boys aged 3 -16 years. Situated within the city of Bangor close to all amenities in the main education district of Ffriddoedd Road. The railway station is five minutes walk away and there are numerous bus services to the area. The school can be found next to Coleg Menai and opposite the Maes Glas Leisure facility. The school is set in two acres of natural woodland to give seclusion and atmosphere to the daily life of the school. Sporting facilities include use of the Maes Glas Leisure Centre, literally across the road from the school. Use of the sports hall and all-weather outdoor pitch are regularly used in sporting activities. The Treborth track for athletics and Bangor swimming pool all add to a great wealth of community facilities and resources on the schools doorstep for use by pupils.
