General information

Background: Our Lady's is a thriving Voluntary Aided Roman Catholic School, which has been awarded Specialist Status as a Language College. The sixth form centre admits boys and girls. The school has a well-deserved reputation for academic achievement, and it strives continually both to maintain and raise its standards, under the continuing trusteeship of the Servite Sisters. Our Lady?s is very fortunate to have excellent facilities. There is a modern dance studio where students are able to learn different forms of dance and movement as well as after-school activities as varied as aerobics to yoga. Although located in a highly urbanised part of London, Our Lady?s continues to provide a wide variety of sporting activities using community facilities as well as its main multi purpose playground. Our Lady?s has a library that is very well resourced with fully qualified librarian to assist students with research and materials. The school offers a balanced and wide range of subjects which meets and goes beyond the national curriculum. In addition to providing the opportunity to excel in all areas, as a Specialist Language College, it also offers girls the chance to study at least two languages. French, Spanish and Mandarin are part of the key stage three curriculums for all. Further languages are available as twilight classes. High quality Catholic comprehensive education in a caring environment.
