General information

Background: Spiritual education is highly valued at this Roman Catholic school; over-riding priority given to baptised practising Roman Catholics. In addition to National Curriculum, there are weekly class music and singing lessons, weekly swimming lessons; individual music tuition available. Key Stage 2 children taken on a one-week school journey, either at home or abroad. After-school clubs range from netball and football to chess and dance. Parental involvement 'very welcome', with parents encouraged to assist in class. The school aims 'to help pupils reach their potential by providing opportunities for a whole education - human and Christian'. The school has achieved Investor in People status, Sport England Activemark and the healthy school award.
