General information
Background: Housed in Victorian buildings dating from 1897, Earlsmead is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual inner city primary school in South Tottenham. This over-subscribed school is about to begin a building programme which will provide a new classroom block with additional accommodation for the school's growing numbers. The school aims to 'foster a positive learning environment' and is 'constantly working to raise standards of achievement', while it also organises a range of extra-curricular activities including French, football and music groups. Earlsmead welcomes 'the contributions all our communities make' and promotes an 'ethos of mutual respect'.
