General information

Background: Hornsey School is a comprehensive school serving the borough of Haringey. The school is a multi-cultural community reflecting a whole range of family backgrounds. The refurbishment and extension of the whole school was completed in September 2003. There are new buildings for music and drama, mathematics and religious education. Computers are networked throughout the school. Facilities for physical education include a sports hall, gymnasium, dance studio and floodlit all-weather playing field. The library and resource centre was completely redesigned, re-equipped and re-stocked. The school aims to create an atmosphere conducive to study, orderly movement around the building and consideration for all members of the community.
