General information

Background: Our lady of Muswell is a voluntary aided Catholic primary school working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Westminster and the London Borough of Haringey. The school has recently benefited from a major building programme, which has enhanced the learning environment and provided the additional spaces needed for expansion to two-forms of entry. As a Catholic school, a strong emphasis is given to religious education. Art and crafts, design, music, dance and drama are offered to the pupils in order to promote the development of pupils' imagination and the creative use of media and materials. All children have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. All pupils receive three terms of swimming instruction from qualified coaches at a local Haringey swimming pool. The school offers extra-curricular activities including: French, basketball, football club, chess, karate, drama club and computer club. The school's aim is the education of each child through the promotion of individual academic achievement and personal development.
