General information

Background: Rhodes Avenue is a two-form entry community primary school. The main school building accommodates two reception classes, four Key Stage 1 classes and six Key Stage 2 classes. A separate building, purpose-built in 2000, accommodates two Year 6 classes and a computer suite. The school also has a new library and an art and design and technology room. Extra-curricular activities including art, choirs for infants and juniors, Christian club, cricket, dance, drama, football, French, gymnastics, Latin, newspaper club, netball and tennis. Rhodes Avenue Primary School aims to provide high-quality education in a secure, supportive learning environment. It also aims to promote equal opportunities and inclusion.
