Background: Reddiford is a well-established, co-educational school at the heart of the Pinner community. Reddiford is an IAPS preparatory school dedicated to preparing pupils for the 11 plus examination. Pupils transfer to top independent and grammar schools within the area. Over the last 10 years boys and girls from Reddiford have gained at least 150 academic scholarships to schools such as Haberdashes Aske's, Merchant Taylors, North London Collegiate and John Lyon. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities during and after the school day. These include: art, craft/sewing, chess, computer, cricket, football, gym, handwriting, nature, netball, recorder and science clubs. Throughout the school the ethos is clearly on respect for each other. Whilst Reddiford maintains its Church of England status, children from all faiths and cultures are welcomed. Throughout the school the ethos is clearly on respect for each other. The Religious Education Curriculum reflects the Christian ethos of this Church of England School. Academic excellence in a warm, caring environment.

Approach to discipline: There is a school and pupil code of practice that parents and pupils are expected to follow. This is supported by strong pastoral care throughout.

Uniform: The school uniform is predominately navy with touches of red such as the school crest on jumper. Uniform is very important at Reddiford and constantly enforced.

Special needs: The schools learning support department, which is an integral part of the school curriculum, allows each child to achieve their full potential. The school has highly qualified learning support teacher?s work, together with trained teaching assistants, to support less able children and allow the highly academic children to receive differentiated work that challenges them.
