General information
Background: The school is situated on the northeast boundary of Grantown-on-Spey approximately three-quarters of a mile from the Centre of the town. The school occupies a prime position with uninterrupted views across the forests and hills of Strathspey to the Cromdale Hills and the Cairngorms. The school facilitates various sports facilities abound - the school is surrounded by golf course, football pitch, bowling green, tennis courts and show park and the school has its own playing fields and swimming pool on campus. A range of pursuits including musical and dramatic activities, computing, various sports, debating, chess, etc. is organised voluntarily by staff. The school provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: basketball, canoeing, curling, football, golf, hockey, netball, rugby and swimming. The school provides various opportunities to enhance the learning of pupils. The school aims to provide a relaxed and caring establishment to promote a good learning environment which will equip pupils for work, leisure and citizenship. .
