General information

Background: Crane Park Primary School was opened in September 2001 and is an amalgamation of Crane Infant and Crane Junior School. The school is set in a very large site on the Butts Farm Estate in Hanworth. The infant and junior schools were opened in 1952 and were originally built as a hospital. The school aims that pupils develop a balanced understanding of ICT and IT as a tool for learning and investigation in all subjects. A number of extra-curricular activities are organised in school. Currently they include football, rounders, cricket, cross-country, karate, singing, dance, drama, recorders, hand chimes and art club. The school has strong links with Hounslow GE European Equipment and Finance Company, BP and Hanworth McDonald, GE volunteers support individual children's reading as well as other initiatives. Crane Park Primary School is an exciting and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to become responsible and confident young people.
