General information
Background: The Blue School has been in existence since 1630, and moved to the present building in 1961. It is the oldest Church of England school in the country. A separate purpose-built primary nursery was added in 1977 and a block with extra hall and classroom accommodation in 1986. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities like French, choir, chess, football, gymnastics, dance, dance and netball. Cricket is coached in the school by representatives from the M.C.C. The school aims to show its commitment to Christ in all its actions. .
