General information
Background: Established in 1878, Borden is a traditional Grammar school situated to the south of the town centre, serving the communities of Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey. The school enjoys excellent facilities, including the new Bryan Short building which allowed the last of the remaining mobile teaching units to be removed. An active parents and friends association organises regular fundraising and social events makes an important financial contribution to specific projects within the school. The school aims to provide a caring and positive environment.
