General information
Background: Burham Church of England Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. It was originally sited on Rochester Road and at one time held as many as 400 boys and girls. Each class has a computer with a full range of educational software. Children have many opportunities to sing and compose their own music. Children learn traditional and modern songs and rounds. Additionally there is a full programme of seasonal competitive games played in voluntary after-school clubs eg: cricket, football, netball, rounders and badminton. The school aims to develop perceptive spiritual and moral values, and an understanding of Christianity and the religious beliefs of others.
