General information

Background: The school was founded in 1875. There have been extensions in recent years and it now offers seven modern classes. The attractive school grounds are used for sporting activities and environmental school work. Extra-curricular clubs include French, art, cookery, football, netball, cricket, orchestra, dance, drama, ICT, RE and citizenship. Swimming is taught at the local leisure centre. Recorder, violin, cello and flute tuition is provided by Kent Music School's Music for Schools Foundation, and clarinet is also available. The school has strong community links and takes part in events such as Offham May Day, services in the local church and the village bazaar. Children raise funds for several charities throughout the year. Pupil?s achievement is above average. The schools focus is on raising pupil?s attainment in caring and supportive learning environment.
