General information

Background: De Lisle Catholic Science College was opened in September 1959 and is named after De Lisle family. In 2003 it changed its name to its present one. The college's building currently comprises the following overall accommodation: dining rooms, hall, library, gymnasium, and practice rooms, careers room. The school curriculum covers the following subjects: religious education, mathematics, English, drama, French, science and humanities, art, music, physical education, information and communication technology and design and technology. There are also a wide variety of activities, which are normally held during the lunch hour. These include choirs, instrumental groups, orchestras, Duke of Edinburgh Award and drama groups as well as sports activities. The college aims to provide a Christian atmosphere, which encourages moral and spiritual growth.
