General information

Background: The school serves two very large communities - the villages of Binbrook and the village of Brookenby, which was recently created from the married quarters of the former RAF Binbrook. The school also accepts children from five other smaller villages and hamlets. The original village school building, which now houses Key Stage 1 children, was constructed with bricks and mortar in 1842. A more recent wooden extension houses the hall, offices, kitchen area, and three classrooms, including a computer suite. The grounds are 'quite extensive' and overlook part of the sweeping Lincolnshire countryside. Extra-curricular activities include sport and music. The school choir have performed in Lincoln Cathedral as part of the Church Schools Festival and also sang with the RAF Band Cranwell at a Carol Concert last Christmas.
