General information
Background: Robert Pattinson School opened in 1953, and became a Grant Maintained school in 1992. It acquired Foundation status in 1999. Situated about two miles from the Lincoln city boundary, most pupils attend from North Hykenham and villages to the west. The school stands in 26 acres of grounds. The buildings include those especially equipped for modern foreign languages, technology, science, music, art and information and communication technology. There are two gymnasia, a sports hall and pitches for all major sports and athletics. The school has a strong tradition of sporting success and performing arts, with annual major productions and termly concerts.
