General information

Background: The school is a Church of England primary school, which is maintained by Lincolnshire county councils education authority. In order to strengthen the link the church the school changed its name to St Helena?s Church of England primary school in September 1999. The original building was erected in about 1862 and consisted of two classrooms divided by a movable wooden screen. There have been many improvements and additions since that time, but in 1989 there was extensive programme that has remodelled the school in 1999, it was able to purchase of a large grass area adjacent to the school grounds, which provides a natural area for study as well as an additional play area. The school aims to provide happy, secure and stimulated environment.
