General information

Background: Bishopsford Community School is a co-educational comprehensive school for students aged 12-16. The school is one of the first 'Fresh Start' schools to open and is founded on expectations of good discipline and high standards. A full-time qualified librarian works with staff and students. There are excellent sports facilities including a hall, a gymnasium, tennis courts, pleasant playing fields and modern sports equipment. Parents are kept informed of their child?s academic progress in a variety of ways. Regular parent/teacher consultation evenings are held each term. Music, dance and drama events are held in order to share the work of students. .
