Background: The school is a co-educational community, primary school for children aged between three and 11 years. The school has recently had a major building and refurbishing programme, which is now complete and has equipped the school with well-resourced primary classrooms. It also has a newly appointed nursery and spacious reception classrooms with their own designated play area. The school also has a well-resourced art and design technology area, a dedicated computer suite and a music and drama studio. The playground is extensive and the school is able to have designated areas for the different ages and needs of its children. The school has information technology, its well-resourced library and study areas across the school providing a vast range of curriculum materials. The school aims to help pupils to learn and understand, develop and nurture sound moral values, develop aesthetic and physical skills, provide enjoyable and fun learning experiences for children, create a stimulating and positive learning environment, provide a caring atmosphere that allows children to flourish, help all its children to reach their full potential.
