General information
Background: City of Norwich School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 12 to 18. There are many good opportunities for students to enhance their education through extra-curricular activities. Musical activities are popular and there are opportunities to sing in choirs or play in orchestras and bands. There are clubs and activities are available during the lunch break. The Sixth Form has 457 students and enjoys the advantage of partnership with Hethersett High School. The buildings are impressive and the grounds are beautiful, so everybody who works at the school enjoys an environment, which encourages a sense of well being. A new classroom block was built in 1996 and a computer network was installed in 1998. The school aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment. .
