General information

Background: Thorpe St Andrew School is a Norfolk county council community secondary school catering for the pupils between 11 and 19 years. The school is set in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Thorpe, which is on the eastern fringe of Norwich. The campus of 34 acres has extensive sports fields and many shrubs and trees. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include rugby, cricket, football, netball, hockey, art and drama, music, design and technology. The school aims to provide a caring, supportive atmosphere, which encourages and expects each student to develop his or her abilities as far as age and aptitude allow. .
