Today Ashville has 840 pupils, with over 100 full and part time staff.Ashville College is situated in Harrogate, one of the North of England?s most interesting and accessible towns. It has good shops, cinema, lots of places to eat, and is set in the heart of beautiful countryside. Harrogate has all the attractions of a city without the drawbacks of urban living. The school is easy to reach by road, rail and car. Harrogate railway station is within two miles and Leeds Bradford Airport is only 25 minutes by car. Inspection: September 2004: 'Ashville College Senior School has much strength and few weaknesses. It gives its pupils very good discipline and teaching, especially in moral and spiritual matters, and looks after them all, boarders and day pupils, very well. The pupils respond by behaving and learning very well so that they achieve good standards of attainment and progress in all years. The school monitors its own strengths and weaknesses, some of which the inspection has highlighted as areas for improvement.'
