General information
Background: Eskdale School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 14. The school offers a wide variety of trips and visits throughout the year such as: Ski trip to France/Austria, Outdoor pursuits at Bewerley Park, Geography trips to Isle of Wight, Foreign language visit, Wimbledon Tennis, International cricket at Chester - le ? Street, Badminton at the Indoor Arena in Birmingham, several trips to the theatre, for example Theatre in the Round at Scarborough, Basketball tournaments. It runs many clubs at lunchtime and after-school offering a range of activities especially in sport, music and drama. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. The school aims to create a pleasant and purposeful environment, which provides individual students with the support they need to overcome difficulties and promote their strengths.
