General information

Background: Barton Seagrave Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. The school is situated in a residential suburb of Kettering, with extensive playing fields and shielded from roads and residential housing by a Pocket Park and spinney. The school buildings were purpose-built as separate infant and junior schools. In 1985 the two schools were amalgamated to from the present primary school. The infant department occupies one building and the junior department the other building. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school aims to provide a safe, happy and ordered environment where fairness, justice and tolerance are always in evidence. .
