Background: Arnold Hill Comprehensive School is a large, mixed, 11-18 community school serving the Nottingham suburb of Arnold. It is a Specialist Technology College. The school has a well-established and highly successful sixth form. There are two libraries. The school has an outstanding reputation for its musical activities. There are choirs for different age groups. The school offers a thriving Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In addition there are other activities that cover a wide range of interests. These include holidays abroad, an Amnesty group, chess club, computer club, drama groups, ski-trips etc. The school holds regular events to raise money for local and national charities. The school aims to provide a caring, safe and enjoyable environment, which focuses on the importance of each individual person. .
