General information
Background: The school was opened in February 2003 on a green field site. All National Curriculum subjects are taught including Welsh. The school offers soccer, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, netball and cross-country. The school has community links with the CUMNI regeneration project business organisations, Churches, EBD and has adult classes for Information and Communications Technology and mathematics. The school also provides after-school clubs such as netball club, penguin club (gymnastics for Key Stage 1 pupils), drama club, language club and library club. The school?s outstanding extra-curricular achievement won the Autoglass competition in soccer for over 1500 schools in England and Wales at Wembley. The school has been open for nearly a year and is beginning to develop its own special ethos. The school aims to provide good quality of education in a caring environment.
