General information

Background: Founded in 1645, St Mary's Church of England Primary is the oldest church school in Middlesex, although its present building is Victorian. It is set in small grounds in the centre of Twickenham. Pupils have achieved success in chess, swimming and tennis. The school has particular links with local churches and almshouses and two residential old people's homes. The children sponsor a third world child through weekly donations in addition to raising funds for a variety of other charities. The school maintains links with organisations such as the police, safety officers and the railway.
